CABARET DANCE
The Wellington branch of the Old Contemptibles’ Association held a successful dance at the Oriental Cabaret recently. The occasion was the first of a series of monthly dances, and an excellent orchestra and good floor attracted many dancers.
During the evening Miss Anderson gave a Spanish dance. Comic songs were sung by Mr. C. Dixon, and a tap dance was presented by Mr. N. Waishe. Sketches were given by Mr. and Mrs. Muirhead, and Messrs. Walsh, Dixon, Don, and Muirhead. ' Miss Pat Snelgrove sang and Mrs. Waishe was accompanist.
