Meeting At Te Rapa To-day REVIEW OF PROSPECTS Dominion Special Service. Hamilton, June 24. The weather has been fine to-day and promises to remain so for the Waipa Racing Club’s winter meeting at Te Rapti to-morrow. The betting will be under the win and place system. Horses likely to be well supported include Andrew Kay Steeplechase: London, Bells of Bow, Floodlight. Arapuni Handicap, first division : Forest Acre, Superior Guard. Ngawiri. Woodstock Stakes: Malagigi, Huge, Valmint. W. G. Park Steeplechase: Inuess Lad, Windsor Lad,- Bryce Street. WORK AT TE RAPA All Irish And Valmint Dominion Special Service.. Hamilton, June 24. An exhibition over a round of the steeplechase country by All Irish, and a solid round on the inside grass by Valinint, were features of the restricted programme at Te Kapa this morning, when a number of candidates for. the Waipa meeting to-morrow were allotted pare tasks on the various tracks. Valmint (F. E. .Baker) finished clear of King Alestar (A. Gilmer) and Windsor Lass (W. Thomson) at the completion of a round on the No. 1 grass. Valmint, who is bearing a healthy appearance, did his work in fine style, and will strip in great, heart for his engagement in the Woodstdek Stakes to-morrow. All Irish (Al. O’Connor) and Cynical Kid (J. 11. Mcßae) jumped off at the winning post to cover a round of die steeplechase country. All Irish, jumping in dashing style, soon drew away from his companion, who was eased up after clearing the brush leading out of (lie straight, the post and rails, and the brush along the back. Aramis (J. F. Fergus) then picked up All Irish and the pair completed the balance of the journey. All Irish was always doing bis work well, and this morning’s exhibition served to increase his circle of admirals for the AV. G. Bark Steeplechase tomorrow. Du AUurior (11.
