Boon Karori e Champion i / The final of the championship and handicap aggregates of the Karori Rifle Club g was decided on Saturday, at 300 yards. ’ The championship provided a very close 3 and interesting contest between T. H. R. j Boon, H. Frankland, and L. Hare,_ only . two points separating these three finally, 1 and the end being in doubt up to the last £ few shots fired. The weather was veryfavourable and the attendance good. Boon f finished his shooting early and compiled i a nice 93, making his aggregate 543, - which turned out afterward to be the win- > ning total. About an hour later, Hare, who > was still lying third, after his first shoot i of 46, secured an excellent 48, whieh placed him second to Boon with 542. Frank- • land shot somewhat below form and lost his previous lead, his 90 dropping him to i third place with 541. The handicap final also provided a close finish, J. F. Rosse (a new member this season) winning from C. D. Elliott by two points, with R. J. Stewart four points ' away third. The highest score was made by F. McDonald, who is rapidly regaining his old form of the earlier years in the club. The principal scores were as follows:—

Suburbs Club The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club held a practice shoot at Trentham over 300 yards range on Saturday. H. Hunt was top scorer off the rifle with 95, and C. Milroy second with 90.
