HUTT WEDDING
Savage—Simpson The wedding was solemnised at the British Israel Assembly Hall, Lower Hutt, of Dorothy, third daughter of Mrs. L. Simpson, Bona Bay, and Robert Felix, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. Savage. The ceremony was performed by Mr. E. AVilson. The bride, who was escorted by Mr. S. Watkins, wore a frock of ivory ring velvet, tight fitting, and with a cowl neck and long train. Iler veil of ivorytoned net was embroidered with horseshoes, and she carried a bouquet of madonna lilies, double stock, and pale pink carnations. Miss Thelma Simpson, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid; she wor e a frock of pale pink figured silk made with full sleeves, puffed, shirred neckline, and full skirt with godets of shirring. There was a bunch of roses at the neck, and she wore a headdress of deep and pale pink roses. Mr. C. Savage was best man. The hall was decorated with pink and blue hydrangeas. A reception was held at the home of Mr. C. Savage, Eastbourne. The bride’s mother, Mrs. Simpson, wore a brown ensemble with touches of red and a picture hat. When Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Savage left, the latter wore a pale blue ensemble with hat to. tone.
