FENWICK SHIELD TO HUTT CLUB
Swimming At Petone The second contest for the Fenwick Memorial Shield between the Hutt and Petone Swimming Clubs was held at McKenzie Baths, Petone, last night. Hutt won by a fair margin. Being rather late in the season both clubs had to rely on emergencies. Presenting the shield, Dr. J. Harding, president of the' Petone Club, congratulated the Hutt team on their good win and their sporting spirit. A water polo match, Petone C. v. Hataitai C. was won by Petone by two goals to nil. Mr. AV. Bousefield was referee. Other events resulted : — Junior Gills, 331-3 yards:—M. Cleland 1. M. Nelson 2, B. Torrence 3, time 30. Junior Boys, 33 1-3 yards:—W. Kyle 1, R. Peel 2, E.
