Gisborne Cattle Fair
Dominion Special Service. Gisborne, March 23. In the female portion of last week’s cattle fair there was an entry of 3400 stores which had a poor sale, showing a considerable decline. A good proportion was passed in. Eighteen months heifers brought £3 to £4/13/- a few above £4; grown heifers £4 to £6, extra £o/</-; empty cows, good quality £5/10/-, otherwise £3/15/- upward; cows running calves, extra £O/3/-. generally £4/10A to £5/16/-; breeding cows, first class £6 to £6/15/-, otherwise £4 upward; beef, quality cows, to £B/2/6; outstanding tolled Angus heifera,.£9/12u_
