MAN FOUND WITH HEAD BLOWN OFF
By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, March 23. The body of Joseph Reuben Roots, 80 Trafalgar Street, Christchurch, an employee of the Christchurch City Council, who had been missing since March 5, was found to-day shortly after noon at the back of the Waimalri golf course. The head was blown off. A piece of fuse was found Tn one of Boots’s pockets. An inquest will be opened to-day.
