The wedding was recently solemnised at St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Petoile, by the Rev. J. C. Loan, of Hazel Mhry Amy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, L. Williams, and William John, sou of Mr. and Mrs. W.-G. Paul, Waimate. The bride's gown was of deep cream satin, with heart-shaped neckline finished with orange-blossom, aud buttoned down the back. The sleeves were pleated at tlie shoulders and tapered to points over the hands and buttoned front the elbow to the wrist. The skirt flared at the back to form a fan-shaped train. The hand-embroidered tulle veil was held in place with a wreath of orange-blossom ; both veil and orange-blossom had been worn by the bride's mother. The bride carried an arm shower of cream tiger lilies and lilium auratum.

The bridesmaid, Miss Muriel Cranston, Tiniaru, wore a redingote of green lace over taffeta, with a peter-pun collar, full puff sleeves, and skirt slightly, trained. Iler green crinoline hat and green silk net elbow-length gloves matched. She carried an arm shower in shades of pale gold shading to orange gladioli, abutilous and zinnias, and a gold sequin purse. Mr. J. R. G. Jack was the best matt, and Messrs. G. Aitken and V. Edwards were ushers. The ehureh was decorated by Mrs. Anderson and members of the Girls’ .Bible Class in gold gladioli and antirrhinums. ■ During the signing of the register Mrs. Millward sang “0 Love Divine.”

A reception was given at the Orange Hall, the parents of .the bride receiving the guests. Mrs. Williams’ frock was of navy blue lace over satin, with a navy blue straw hat, and her bouquet was of gladioli hnd zinnias. The bridegroom’s mother was in a navy blue ensemble of self-figured marocain, and she carried a bouquet of gladioli and heath. Mrs. Mijlward and Miss L. Cooper sang at the reception. Mrs. W. J. Paul travelled in a navy blue pin-striped tailored suit witli navy blue fur felt hat, accessories to match, and a double stone-ffiartin fur necklet.
