ENGAGEMENT OF KING ZOG CONFIRMED
Vatican Opposition Likely London, January 27. The correspondent of the British United Press at Tirana says that official circles confirm the news that King Zog, of Albania, will shortly announce his engagement to the Countess Geraldine Apponyi. A Vatican City message states that officials of the Sacred Rota declare it is unlikely that the Church will sanction the marriage of the Countess Apponyi to King Zog, because the latter is a Moslem
