LOWER HUTT BATHS
A recommendation from the baths rusIndian to last night’s meeting of the Lower Hutt Borough Council that a special evening session from 7 to 9 pan. on tine evenings (luring the summer be inaugurated, the charge for admission to be 3d. a head and season tickets not to be available for this session, was adopted.
Cr. Dowse objected to ticket-holders having to pay the additional charge, contending that they .should be admitted on their tickets. His amendment to this effect was not seconded.
The report of the custodian. Mr. C. D. Richardson, stated that the takings at the baths from the opening of the season to November were £64/17/-, compared with £55/2/10 for the same period last. year. Tile admissions were 1520 adults and 2406 children, compared with 772 and 1546.
