FIGHTING ANTI-SEMITISM

Delegates from 60 Jewish communities attended an emergency session of the American Jewish Congress for the purpose of formulating a world-wide organisation to fight. anti-Semitism. A report staled that 5,000.000 Jews in central Europe are seriously endangered by anti-Jewish movements. Reactionary forces in Central and Eastern Europe were responsible for the most brutal oppression the world had ever seen. Their method is the pogrom popularised by Nazi Germany and adopted in Poland, Rumania, Danzig, Austria, Hungary and other States apparently anti-Semitic.
It is planned to enlist every Jew over the age of 18 years throughout the world.
