LITTLE MISS MUFFET WAS WISE
1 Did Not Throw Whey Away (Received x\pril 19, 8.10 p.m.) London, April 19. Little Miss Muffet was a thoroughly wise young person because she ate both curds and whey, the latter of which many cheesemakers throw away. The nutrition Advisory Committee now emphasises the value of whey, which could advantageously be used with cereals to correct their deficiencies. It could also be utilised in feeding live stock.
