BROADBENT’S FLIGHT
First Stage to England Sydney, April 19. H. F. Broadbent left Mascot Aerodrome at 6.15 a.m. to-day oil the first stage of his flight to England. He hopes to reach Charleville to-day. The aeroplane has a petrol range of 1600 miles. Broadbent expects to reduce H. L. Brook’s record of 7 days 19 hours 59 minutes for a flight to England. He is flying a Leopard Moth machine.
