* Wellington.—Fine and pleasant, with a little light wind from the north. Minimum temperature on Sunday night, 13.1 deg.; maximum, yesterday, 60.4 deg.; temperature at 3.36 p.m., 59.9 deg. Rainfall at ‘“The Dominion” building for 24 hours ended 11 p.m., nil. Total for the month, 2.72 in.; for the year, lO.Oin. Palmerston North.—Sunny but cool, with a light north-west wind. Masterton. —Beautifully fine with a cloudless sky after a severe frost. No wind. Wanganui.—Fine and sunny; light westerly breeze. Waipukurau.—A very hard frost of seven degrees was experienced. The day was brilliantly fine and warm. Auckland.—Fine and sunny, with light and variable wind a early in the morning, but a steady north-easterly breeze iu the afternoon. Temperatures were mild and the barometer steady at 29.70 in. Christchurch. —Fine and sunny, with a fresh north-east breeze. The maximum temperature was 56.3 degrees. The barometer fell during the day, and registered 29.66 in. at 5 p.m. Dunedin.—Cold in the morning, hut the sun shone brightly throughout the day, and the temperature rose to 63 degrees.
