Dunnis—Connor Bowls of sunset and white dahlias and greenery were artistically arranged by girl friends of the bride to decorate St. Anthony’s Church, Gonville, AVanganui, for the wedding cf Audrey Mary Josephine, only daughter of Captain and Mrs. J. Connor, Gonville, AVanganui, and Ronald Leslie, only son of Mr. L. T. A. Dennis and the late Mrs. Dennis, Wanganui. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Outrini. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a charming wedding gown of ivory Loniton lace over satin, cut ou slim-titling lines, fashioned with a cowl neckline and long, full sleeves gradually tapering to form points over the wrists. A. softly swathed panel draped the waistline, from where the long scalloped train was attached. Her embroidered veil, lent by Mrs. L. Tullock, was arranged to the head with a pearl and orange blossom halo. An arm sheaf composed of, creamy, white and palest pink begonias, hoya, carnations and rosebuds, was carried. The three bridesmaids were Misses Joyce Hare (Wellington), Kitty Muir and Helen Cleland. They were gowned alike in slightly trained frocks of \sunset taffeta poulte, with square-cut necklines finished with sprays of toning flowers. Halos of flowers adorned their heads and their cascade bouquets were comprised of deep flame shading to apricot-toned roses, charm dahlias and gerberas. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr: AValter Hallam, Auckland, and the groomsmen were Mr. Les Connor and Mr. Ken Greager, of Auckland. The ushers were Messrs. Jack Gordon. B. Hitching (Wellington) and K. Conuor. After the cerfemony a reception was held in the Victoria League rooms, St. Hill Street. AVhen Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Dennis left on a motor tour of the North Island, the bride was wearing a rust tunic ensemble under a Westmoreland tweed coat, with wide revers of caraetil, a model brown peaked hat, shoes and gloves to tone, and carried a brown bag.
