FIVE O’CLOCK PARTY
A very cheery party to farewell Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Smith, two of the most popular members of the Manor Park Golf Club, who are returning for a short visit to their home town, Toronto, Canada, by the Aorangi next week, was given on Friday evening by the ladies’ club captain, Miss II Fairbrother, at her home in Barnard Street, Highland Park. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. A. S. T. Butler, Mr. and Mrs. J.~L. Barnard, Mr. and Mrs. J. Barker, Mr. and Mrs. T. Wagg, Mesdamee Burns and Sawyers, Misses Kerr, plash, Murtagh. Neely. Jones, Howe, Walker, Monahan. King, McColl. Messrs. Pitt, Wilson, Holloboti. Kirby. Coekburu, Allan.
