Gildo Beats Hughes By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, April 16. In a clever boxing display marked by plenty of action throughout Young Gildo was awarded a pointe decision over irchie Hughes at Hamilton last evening. There was a packed hous-e and the bout went the full distance. Gildo’s speed on attack and clever defence turned the match in his favour over Hughes's aggressiveneeo. There was little between the men in the early rounds, but Gildo took the upper hand in the last four, completely overshadowing bin opponent In the final three.
