Residential Nursery
Executive Mrs. L. O. H. Tripp presided at the recent executive meeting of the Women's National Reserve Residential Nursery. Owen Street. A large amount: of business was transacted. The reports of the emergeue.v committee on numerous matters dealt: with (luring the recess were received, and the work was pronounced as highly satisfactory. The matron's reports wore most encouraging. The deputy-president of the nursery. Mrs. A. B. Gibbons, gave some interesting information with regard to the meetings she had held. A vote of thanks was passed to the matron for her most acceptable and numerous gifts of vegetables from her Otaki garden. These have been given for the past 10 years and have helped the nursery considerably. Mesdames L. O. 11. Tripp. Alex Crawford, Pope, and A. F. Tonks. who will leave shortly for a trip abroad, were granted leave of absence.
