BUILDING AT DUNEDIN

The value of building permits issued by the city council for the six months from April to September was £2G3,678, as against £1,72,684 for the same period last year. The value of the new post office contract is not included in these • figures. August furnished the biggest increase, the figures being £62,881, as against £28,383.
