CHEERY DANCE
New Zealanders’ Association There was a large gathering of members and friends of the New Zealanders’ Association at the St John Ambulance Hall last night when the association held its second monthly social and dance. The hall was gaily decorated, the lights being shaded with huge paper chandeliers, each of a different bright colour, that radiated different tones of light on the dancers beneath. A diversion between dances was provided by songs given by Mrs. Adeliene Trott and Mr. Frank Anderson, and tap dances by Miss Agnes Nolan. Mr. 0. Mclntyre, president, and Mrs. Mclntyre received the members and visitors .with the committee, comprising Miss 8. Shearer (social secretary), Mrs. J. Burnett, Mrs. Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. H. Peach, Mrs. Scholes, Mrs. Elliott, Mr. Williams, Mr. Gill, and Mr. F. Smith (secretary), who were responsible for the evening’s arrangements.
