Upper Hutt High School Proposal On the motion of the Mayor, Mr. A. J. McCurdy, the Upper Hutt Borough Council last night unanimously agree* to ask the Wellington Education Board that a district high school, with fl. tniiuual trainin- centre attached, be erected in tie borough of Upper Hutt on a site to be selected by the board and the Minister.
On the motion of Cr. W. H. Edwards, the Petone Borough Council last nigh, decided to make representations to the Postmaster-General for a reduction in telephone charges.
