VISUAL EDUCATION

School Committees Interested i The possibilities of classroom films as a medium of education in the primary schools were explained to members of the Wellington School Committees and Educational Federation last night when a demonstration was given on a projector suitable for use in the schools. Two films were shown and the suggestion was put forward that a Visual Education Association should be formed on similar lines to the association in existence in Auckland. Members were enthusiastic regarding the possibilities, but as the broad question of visual' training had been fully discussed at the Dominion Conference of School Committees at Dunedin last month, it was decided to defer discussion until the report from the conference had been placed before the Minister of Education, Hon. P. Fraser.
