DISTRICT NURSE FUND CONCERT
There was a large audience at the Kin„ George Theatre, Lower Hutt, last evening when an excellent concert was presented in aid of the district nurse fund The entertainment was organised by the Civic Band. . ~ n „„„ The programme was as follows. —overture by the Civic Band; saxophone solo, Bandsman Simpson; Messrs. Simpson and F. • Wellington, items on the banjo, steel guitar, violin, and xylophone, Mr. R. George, ’ accompanied by G f° vLht” and niflno * part-songs. Silent Ni«ht an 4 “Lead Kindly Light,” the “Stella quartet. of Petone; band item. Ketelby s in a Monastery Garden.”
