REPAIRS TO CABLES
Work of Ship Recorder (Received July 24, 10.30 p.m.) Sydney, July 24. Tlie cable repair ship Recorder hasreturned to Sydney from Norfolk Island, where three cable ends damaged in the recent cyclone were repaired. The Recorder was unable to finish repairs to the emergency cable between Sydney and New Zealand owing to bad weather.
The Recorder will be stationed at Singapore in tbc future.
