RED CROSS BALL
The preparations for the Red Cross “Old English” ball, to be held next Thursday, are nearing completion The social club committee is working with keen enthusiasm to make the event a successful and happy one. A limited number of invitations have been sent out, but everyone interested will be welcome to the ball. The dance orchestra of the First Battalion, Wellington Regiment, will supply the music, and the hall will be transformed into an old English garden, adorned with roses, hollyhocks, wistaria, and hydrangeas. A spectacular ballet, “Valse Romantique,” will be staged by“ pupils of Mr. Joe Knowslo®
