OLD COMRADES
Association’s Annual Meeting A large number of members attended the annual meeting of the New Zealand Permanent Force Old Comrades’ Association (Wellington section). It was noted iu the annual report that considerable progress had been made, and also tihat a very satisfactory credit balance was in hand. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The meeting decided to establish a benevolent fund. After consultation with the Auckland section —the parent body which drafted t'he constitution—the matter of varying certain clauses to suit local conditions came up for discussion and was approved. The date of the next reunion wag fixed for the Saturday immediately preceding Labour Day. Two ex-members of the R.N.Z.A. —Messrs. E. W. Scott, Palmerston North, and R. V. Logie, Christchurch —were given a welcome to the meeting by their comrades of former days.

Sandle; vice-chairman, Mr. J. Spence; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Thomson; assistant-secretary and treasurer, Mr. T. Asher; hon. auditor, Mr. F. Bond; committee, Messrs. M. Hyland. J. A. Head, E. A. Tomkies, R. H. Cook, L. Inkster, J. Duncan, C. Radcliffe, G. Paine, J. J. Power, J. Leslie, T, B. Nisbet and A. Smith.
