WAR PENSIONER’S DEATH

A war pensioner, Mr. Harry Blanford, aged 52 Glenmore Street, died suddenly at his home yesterday afternoon, apparently of heart failure. Mr. Blanford, who suffered from war injuries, was left alone.in the house yesterday, his wife being away for the day. Next door neighbours were asked to call on him occasionally. and at 12.15 p.m t he was asked if he would care for a cup of tea, but declined. Mr. Blanford then seemed in his normal health, but when he was next visited about 3.15 p.m., he was dead. An inquest will be held. z
