WEDDING

O’Loujfhlin—Flynn The wedding was solemnised ati St. Anthony’s Church, Martinborough, recently, of Alice Myra, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Flynn, Dyerville, and Mervyn Joseph, elder son of Mr. and the late Mrs. O’Loughlin, Carterton. The Rev. Father Carmine performed the ceremony and Miss H. Smith presided at the organ. The bride entered the church with her father, and was in a gown of pale pink chiffon velvet cut on classical lines, the cowl neck being finished with a diamante clasp, with which she wore a picture hat to tone trimmed with a velvet bow and spray of pink and lemon flowers on the brim. Her bouquet was of pink stock, freesias, daphne and maidenhair fern. She was attended by her cousin, Miss Winuifred McGillicuddy, whose frock was of pink suede lace with high neckline trimmed with silver flowers and a bow. The skirt of pleated frills fell to form a slight train. She also wore a pink hat with silver flowers on the brim, and her bouquet was of freesias, stock, violets and maidenhair fern. Mr. F. O’Loughlin, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. As the wedding party left the church the bride was presented with two silver horseshoes. •’ A reception was held in the Town Hall supper room, Mrs. Flynn receiving the guests. Her frock was of french blue, relieved with white, and she wore a hat to match, and carried a bouquet of orange cottohesta and violets. When Mr. and Mrs. M. J. O’Loughlin left, the bride was wearing a smart brown frock and coat, with halo hat and accessories to tone.
