ANNUAL STAFF DANCE

' A most enjoyable evening was spent at the Mayfair Cabaret on Wednesday, when the staff of Whitehead and Pears, Ltd., held their annual dance, at which they and their friends attended in full force. The cabaret was gaily decorated, and the tables in the supper-room were artistically arranged, vases of Iceland poppies striking a cheery note. Exhibition dances were greatly enjoyed and two novelty dances caused much amusement, and were won by Miss E. Goble and Mr. R. Broon. and Miss P. Fitzgerald and Mr. G. Wilkinson. The committee responsible for the success of the evening were: Miss E. Young (white crushed organdie), Miss K. Cain fuchsia velvet), ami Mr. R. Vaney.
