Meeting of Wellington Council
The annual general meeting of the United Friendly Societies’ Council was held in the 8.U.0.0.F. hall recently, the president, Bro. J. G. McGregor, presiding over a good attendance of delegates. The annual report by the president showed a successful year for the council’s activities, and the balance-sheet showed a credit balance. , The following officers were elected to. the ensuing year: President, Bro. G. Morgan, G.U.0.0.F.; vice-president, C. k. Tipnett, 8.U.0.0.F.; H. JWillis, U.A.0.D.; treasurer. 8. Griffiths, AO.F.; committee, Sister Collinson and Bros. Johnson, T. Gill and J. Barr’as, auditors, Bros. E. D. XVallitf, L -0. h., and P. Johnson, 1.0. R.
