WEDDINGS
Williams —Eliott A wedding of interest to Christchurch and Wellington took place at St. Mary’s Church, Merivale. Christchurch, on Saturday, when Jean Gordon. younger daughter of the late Mr. Huutly Eliott and of Mrs. Eliott, Bristol Street, was married to Lory Gareth Stevenson, eldest sou of the Rev. Owen Williams and Mrs. Williams, Christ’s College. The bridegroom's father officiated, and Mr. A. Worsley was organist. The bride, who was given away by her brother. Mr. Huutly Eliott, wore a frock of rust brown velvet and a hat of capeline of tiie same shade, and her bouquet was in pale gold and apricot colouring. She was attended by Miss Molly Dailey, whose suit was of rust red wool georgette worn with a black velvet, hat. Her bouquet, was in autumn and russet toning. Mr. Lester Hudson was best man. After the ceremony Mrs. Eliott entertained immediate relatives of the families, who were the only guests, at morning tea at her home.
