The wedding took place at St. Andrew’s Church, i’almerston North, last week of Aileen May, elder daughter of Mr. ami Mrs. A. W. Sutton, Palmerston North, and Waiter Henry, son of Mr. aud Mus. \V. Green, Hawera. The bride, who -was given away by her father, wore a gown of white ring velvet, cut on classical lines. The neck was slightly cowled with shirring across the front, and the sleeves were very full aud fastened tightly at the wrists. The corsage was moulded to tlie ligure, while the skirt was full ami cut to form a train. The embroidered veil was held in place with a coronet of pearls and finished with a spray of orange blossom at each side. A bouquet of roses, freeSias and fern was carried.

A reception was afterward held at the Roseo Ten Rooms, where guests from all parts of the North Island were received by the bride's mother and bridegroom's sister, Mrs. 11. Palmer. Hawera. Mrs. Sutton wore a frock of navy marocain, a smart navy velour hat, and a brown fox fur, and carried a bouquet: of rod. Mrs. Palmer was in a smart dross of blaek, relieved with white and a black hat, and carried a bouquet in tones of gold.
