PRESERVING THESES
College Council’s Decision In 1935, 29 theses were submitted by candidates for M.A. and honours, M.A., M.Sc. and honours, M.Com. and honours, and M.Com., according to the annual report of the professorial board which was read at last night’s meeting of the Victoria University College Council. . .... Mr. H. A. R. Huggins remarked that many valuable theses were lost because no copies were taken of them. Those dealing with historical research had in many cases been produced only after infinite research. t On the motion of Dr. T. D. M. Stout, it was decided that students be asked to prepare copies of their theses and that the professorial board select those considered worthy for preservation m the library.
