MONDAY’S WRESTLING
Those wjio like fast and spectacular wrestling should have their tastes well catered for by the match in the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night between Cowboy Bob ("Rebel” Russell) and Paul,Boesch. In their previous appear-i ances here these men have shown themselves to be exceptionally skilful performers who never slacken from a fast pace, and their records are such as to place them among the best men in the game. Boesch’s specialty, the dropkick, is executed in an mitirely novel way and is more effective than any that has previously been demonstrated in New Zealand. No matter how tall his opponent he can land with both feet to the jaw, and the. results are devastating. Russell’s favourite hold is the suplex, which he uses to slam his opponent until the latter can no longer resist a fall. There will be amateur preliminaries.
