COMING-OF-AGE DANCE
Masses of chrysanthemums and holly and many coloured streamers and balloons effectively decorated the home of Mrs. R. G. Chapman, Sherwood Street, Lower Hutt, last night, when she gave a most cheery dance in honour of the eoming-of-age of her son John. Bright tires added a warm glow to the rooms and made one forget the chilly conditions out of doors. During the evening the health of the guest of honour was drunk-, Mr. Chapman suitably responding. Mrs. .Chapman, wearing a graceful frock of blue flowered maroeain with blue coatee to match, and assisted by her daughter Pamela who was in apricot, chiffon made with cape effect, received the guests, among whom were Misses Lorna Adams.
