MORNING TEA
Delegates To Conference An enjoyable morning tea party, which served as a farewell to women delegates who attended the National Political Federation's conference at Wellington last week, was given by Miss Agnes McLean, .Mulgrave Street. The rooms looked very bright with bowls of orange marigolds and gay Iceland i>o]>pies. Mrs. G. W. Forbes and Mis. J. G. Coates gave bright and interesting speeches, which the delegates greatly appreciated, and several of the delegates from different parts of New Zealand s]K)ke of their work, among them being Dr. Turkington, Mrs. Don, Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Askin, Mrs. Stone, and Miss Madge MacGregor. Others present were Miss Sanders, Mrs. Smythe, Mrs. Crump, Mrs. '■'’rater, Misses Sorensen, and Richardson, Mrs. Ward, president of the women's auxiliary, was unable to be present.
