Shandon Ladies’ Mid-week Club The Shandon Ladies’ Mid-week Club held a very successful opening day on Wednesday, when about 70 players participated in two competitions. In the senior medal round Mrs. Paterson returned the best card, a net 75, and in the juniors Mrs. Houston (Miramar) won with a net 73. In the afternoon, the bogey match was won in the senior division by Miss Matthews (Hutt), 1 down; and in the junior division by Mrs. H. J. Smith (Manor Park), 5 down. The club captain presented the trophies at the close of play.
