$ Strong Teams to Meet at Athletic Park Hutt aud Athletic will provide the main attraction to-day at Athletic Park. Athletic stands second in the competition at present, having won one game and drawn another. The matches will provide park spectators with the first opportunity of seeing E. W. Tindill in action since his return from the tour with the All Blacks. Hutt beat Marist on the opening day, the forwards being excellently led by E. Barry, the All Black, and M. W. Devine, the former Wairarapa ami Manawatu representative. The teams are strong in the forwards, and. should provide hard and fast Rugby. The curtain-raiser win he provided by Athletic and University. Athletic shares with University and St. Patrick’s Old Boys the leadership of the second grade, aud University fields a fast and clever back line capable of attractive football. Eastbourne, the leading team, will play M-irist at Eastbourne, and a particularly keen game should be provided at Hutt, where Wellington and Poneke, each with one win and one loss, will meeL Wellington College Old Boys, who last week overthrew Hutt, .will jpoet Petoue at Fetoue.
