ROLL OF HONOUR
Ambulance Division A roll of honour of the Hutt Valley Railway Ambulance Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was dedicated and unveiled by the Rev. H. E. K. 1' ry in the workshops social hall on Ihursuay evening. The roll contains the names of Corporal AV. J. Winyard, who died on March 8, 1934. and Private L. F. Robertson Taylor, who died on December 1, 1935. ‘ Mr. Fry. who was introduced by Superintendent Hotwell, said it was a privilege to act temporarily as chaplain to a company of a most honoured, distinguished and historical Order which had extended to every part of the Empire. It was a Christian society which was in tile name of Christ doing most wonderful and Christian service. Tlie tablet was then dedicated “to the glory of God and in memory of Corporal AVinyard and Private Robertson Taylor.’’ .Corporal Winyard had joined tlie division in July, 1929: two years laled he had been appointed corporal, and later had been divisional storekeeper. Private Robertson Taylor, who was accidentally killed in December, 1935, had been one of the keenest members of the division.
