PRICES OF WOOLPACKS
Fixed by Regulation Regulations fixing the prices of vvoolpiicks were gazetted last night. The maximum price at which a woolpack may lie sold to a purchaser, purchasing for his own use and not for purposes of resale, for delivery on board boat or on rail or ex store at the following ports—Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Timaru and Bluff—is fixed at 3/4 for a woolpack measuring 42 inches by 27 inches by inches, 3/7 for a woolpack measuring 48 inches by 27 inches by 27 inches, and 3/10 for a woolpaqfc measuring 54 inches by 27 inches bv 27 inches. Iu the case of a sale for delivery at any other poiut than one of those specified the price fixed at which a woolpack may be sold to a purchaser of such a woolpack for his owu use and not for purposes of resale shall be increased by a suiil equal to the reasonable cost of transporting the woolpack to the point of delivery from that port among the ports mentioned 'which is nearest or most convenient to the point of delivery. No person shall sell any woolpack at a preie other than the respective prices specified, unless he is satisfied on reasonable grounds that the purchaser is acquiring it for purposes of resale and not for his own use. ■
