ESPERANTO CLUB
Weekly Meeting Held At this week’s meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Chib. Mr. Vernon J. Leek, D.8.E.A., presided. Greetings were received from the Esperanto clubs in Palmerston North and Nelson, and tuition classes arranged under the supervision of Messrs. Henri W. Thoms, Anton Vogt (chib secretary), Leek and Bertram Potts (director of tuition). It was reported that satisfactory progress was being made in the translation into Esperanto of the New Zealand novel. “Restless Earth,” by Graeme Holder Instead of the usual programme period, the club held a modern and old-time dance.
