Petone and Lower Hutt' To Collaborate ?
The Lower Hutt Borough Council, according to a decision reached last night, Is to confer with the Petone Borough Council o.u the question of appointing a permanent traffic inspector to patrol both boroughs. v The subject was introduced by Cr. C. J. Ashton, who claimed that traffic regulations in Lower Hutt were entirely ignored. . ' Cr. M. Macaskill said the fact that an inspector was. patrolling the road would be a deterrent to speeding. .
