Contracts Let Akitio, January 20. > The following contracts have been let by the Akitio County Council: — Contract No. 353, North Rango Road metalling: It was decided to accept the tender of Frank Dennes, of Greytown, at 6/8 per cubic yard. This was the lowest tender received. Three tenders were received for the county office contract, and it was decided to accept the lowest, that of Messrs. John- ’ son and Mollgaard. of Dannevirke. Contract No. 355. Kohiku Bridge: Let to A. H. Bogle, of Wanganui; tender price, £1450. Contract No. 356. Meech’s concrete culvert : Lot to -L Ames, of Plimmcrton, lender price £1486/11/6. Contract No. 357, Ware Ware bridge: Let to Peacocke Construction Co., tender price £1230/17/8.
