Man’s Body Near Ripitea
Wharf
Having been missing since January 5, the body of Thomas Duggan, aged 40 an empioyee of the Wellington Harbour Board, was found in the water north of the Pipitea Wharf yesterday, and recovered by the wharf police. On the day of his disappearance Duggan was walking along Aotea Quay at about 3.10 a.m. with two other men. He said something about going.fishing, and jumped into the sea. Nothing was seen of bis body again until yesterday morning. He was au Irishman by birth, and it is believed he had a wife and family in Ireland. He had been in New Zealand about seven years.
