Representative Trials
The following have been selected to represent the men’s basketball Possibles and Probables in a further trial for a team to meet the Palmerston North Association at Palmerston North on Saturday. September 7. The trial will be played at the Y.M.C.A. Gymnasium on Monday evening at 7.30 pan. Possibles: Right forward, Thorpe (Internal Affairs) ; left forward. Emmerson (Residents) ; centre player. Burns (Gvmtiasium) ; right back. Vernon (Gymnasium); left back. Mintbft (Interna! Affairs) ; emergency, Collins (Gymnasium). Probables: Right forward. Lawson (Gymnasium); left forward, 11. Reader (Island Bay).; centre player, Raven (Mnrnnui); right back, Wilkinson (Residents) : left back. Dunnncliie (hire Brigade); emergency, Tobin (Fire Brigade).
