Support For National Candidate

The lion. R. Masters, who visited Winton to-day, was met by a large gathering of representatives from all parts of the Awarua electorate, who expressed their desire to form an organisation to further the candidature of the National nominee for that electorate. At lhe conclusion of the meeting the following motion was carried unanimously: “That litis meeting, composed of representatives of the Reform ami L'nited Parties in the Awarua electorate. whole-heartedly agrees with the decision of the two parties to form a National Government and for the .■imalgamtioii of the two organisations for the purpose of electing National candidates at the forthcoming election. We furl her pledge ourselves to do everything possible to secure the refurn'of the selected National candidate for this electorate and to bring this about wo undertake to form a local branch of the National Political Federation.”
