CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
Successful Celebration On Sunday last the Y’lviun Street Church of Christ, celebrated its sixtysixth anniversary, the minister, Mr. A. G. Saunders, preaching both morning ami night. The congregations were large. 'The occasion was also observed by a “knife-a nil-fork” tea on Tuesday evening, followed by a congregational public meeting in lhe church. A feature of this gathering was a Scriptural contest between the young women’s and young men’s Bible classes, in which lite former carried off the honours. The whole celebration was successful, and a source of much encouragement to the leaders and members of the church.
