BASKETBALL RESULTS

Junior Tournament Final Basketball matches played on Saturday under the auspices of the Wellington Basketball Association included the final of the junior tournament, which was won by Island Bay Old Scholars, and a further round in’the championship competitions. Results are as follow: — Junior Tournament The Island Bay Old Scholars’ fifth grade team defeated the Newtown Old Girls’ fourth grade team by 3 goals to 2 in the final of the junior tournament, which had been held over from the previous Saturday.
