DRINK BLAMED
Middle-aged Man’s Downfall By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, May 31. Having been found guilty of indecent assault, Harold Kelly, aged 45 years, was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment with hard labour by Mr. Justice Reed to-day. Counsel pleaded that drink was the cause of Kelly’s downfall. Ills Honour emphasised that children must be protected, and although the ease was not the worst of its type, it was bad enough.
