Ali, Ex-King of Hedjaz Bagdad, February 14. The death is announced of Ali, exiting of the Hedjaz, and brother of the late King Feisal of Irak Dr. Herbert Giles (British Official Wireless.) (Received February 15, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, February 14. Dr. Herbert Giles, formerly Professor of Chinese at Cambridge University, whose knowledge of the languages and literature of China won for him a world-wide reputation, died yesterday in his 90th year.
